Derek Parsons

Derek Parsons is a visual artist based out of Southern California. A San Diego native, he has resided in California his whole life. He plans to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the upcoming fall semester, pursuing a bachelor’s of fine arts. Derek works with paint media, especially oil and acrylic paint. Derek’s artistic practice utilizes traditional techniques yet focuses on topical subject matter.
